Title: Junior Building Commissioning Engineer

Job Description
Responsible for supporting the Commissioning Program for the NYS Office of Mental Health and multiple client sites primarily within the NY Region.
Job Responsibilities
- Technically assist execution of building commissioning projects
- Review HVAC, controls and/or electrical plans and specifications
- Independently or with senior engineer, perform field inspections, equipment startups, test and balance activities, and functional performance tests
- Support on-site commissioning activities under the supervision of senior engineers
- Assist in preparing commissioning deliverables such as field reports, checklists, and test procedures
- Prepare commissioning reports and maintain commissioning issues lists
- Participate in commissioning meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Document test results and maintain commissioning records
- Support the development and maintenance of project documentation
- Responsible for personal time management on assigned projects
- Responsible for the technical quality and accuracy of work provided under the guidance of senior engineers
- Planning for project activities and keeping accurate records of project activities
- Communication with other staff including Engineers and Senior Manager
- Travel to sites is required – overnight stays on occasion
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in commissioning within the construction industry
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and controls systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
- Experience with CxAlloy and other commissioning software platforms is preferred
- Relevant certifications in Commissioning are highly desirable.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
