- Partner with equipment vendors to secure certification agendas, technical training content, and equipment access; own and track completion of vendor-led certification programs.
- Develop and maintain digital training content, including instructional video and LMS modules, to scale training capacity and support recurring refresh and recertification.
- Define and manage field escalation protocols — establishing clear criteria for when technicians and Service Managers engage the Technical Training Manager for support — and convert those interactions into feedback loops that improve training materials, vendor relationships, and equipment standards.
- Partner with the VP, Operational Excellence to provide input into innovation testing and equipment readiness, and collaborate with the Training Standards & Process team to align curriculum with company-wide service standards.
- Track and report key training and service performance measures, including certification completion, first-time-fix rate, repeat call rate, equipment uptime, and technician retention.
- Partner with HR to help translate certification achievement into the technician pay progression framework (FY28).
- Maintain the Philadelphia training facility, including equipment staging, tools, safety standards, and video recording capability.
- Support cohort planning and technician travel prioritization across new hires, tenured refresh, and lead technician trainers to maximize training throughput.

- 5–8 years of technical field service, equipment maintenance, or related trade experience, preferably within a route-based, food service equipment, or vending/refreshment services environment.
- Certified or credentialed in one or more relevant trades (e.g., refrigeration/HVAC, plumbing, electrical) required.
- Hands-on experience with major OEM equipment vendors relevant to the refreshment services industry (e.g., Cornelius, Bunn, Manitowoc, Follett) strongly preferred.
- Prior experience designing or delivering technical training curriculum, certification programs, or train-the-trainer content preferred.
- Experience developing or supporting digital training content (instructional video, LMS) a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time for vendor engagement, equipment sourcing, and market cohort support.
- Strong organizational and program management skills, with the ability to run recurring, structured training cohorts on schedule.
