Security Manager – Caprock Workforce Community
Location: Caprock Workforce Housing Community (Mobeetie, TX)

The Security Manager is responsible for leading security programs and protecting residents, employees, visitors, property, and company assets at the Caprock Workforce Community—a large-scale, workforce housing and hospitality environment operated by Aramark. This role ensures professional and effective security operations through strong vendor oversight, incident management, and proactive risk prevention. This role requires a continuous onsite presence, coaching leaders and employees, and reinforcing a strong safety and security culture.

Job Responsibilities

Vendor Management – Security Services
•    Oversee contracted security providers, ensuring consistent, professional security coverage for the Caprock community.
•    Monitor compliance with security contracts, post orders, incident reporting, and escalation protocols.
•    Partner with Operations and Facilities to manage access control, patrol activities, emergency response, and asset protection.
•    Lead security incident investigations in coordination with Human Resources and community leadership.
•    Ensure alignment between security operations and the resident experience in a live-in community setting.
 
Risk & Asset Protection
•    Lead and implement Aramark risk control programs to protect people, property, and assets across the Caprock community.
•    Conduct routine security walks of all community facilities, housing, dining, recreation, and common areas.
•    Engage operational leaders in corrective actions identified during security assessments.
•    Partner with Operations, Human Resources, and Corporate Safety & Risk Control to enforce Aramark's SAFE Commitment.
•    Lead incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions to reduce severity and frequency of security events.
 
Compliance, Audits & Emergency Response
•    Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and Aramark standards.
•    Maintain security documentation, incident reports, investigations, and corrective action logs.
•    Accompany corporate, regulatory, or partner inspections and manage corrective action responses.
•    Respond to emergencies in coordination with Facilities, clinic partners, and local emergency services.
•    Support emergency preparedness planning, drills, and crisis response protocols appropriate to a largeresidential community.
 
Training & Leadership
•    Lead security and emergency response training for managers and employees.
•    Facilitate community safety meetings and cross-functional coordination.
•    Train and coach managers and employees on security and risk prevention programs in alignment with Aramark standards.
•    Act as a trusted advisor and visible security leader within the Caprock community.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (Criminal Justice, Business, or related field preferred).
•    Minimum 3+ years of experience in security management, risk management, or related fields.
•    Experience managing third-party security vendors, preferably in large-scale facilities or residential communities.
•    Strong working knowledge of incident investigation, access control, and corrective action processes.
•    Understanding of severity and frequency metrics and ability to drive improvements.
•    OSHA certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
•    Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a 24/7 community setting.
