Job Description
Aramark Nexus is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities at the Caprock Workforce Community, located outside Pampa, Texas.
The Maintenance Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of the Caprock site. This leader will manage the maintenance team, establish priorities, oversee work orders, coordinate vendors and contractors, and ensure facilities, equipment, and building systems are maintained safely and reliably.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands facilities maintenance and knows how to lead a team in a large, active operating environment. The Maintenance Manager must be comfortable moving between planning, troubleshooting, team leadership, vendor management, and responding to operational needs across the property.
Candidates may also have experience under titles such as Facilities Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Maintenance Manager, or Building Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities
Site Maintenance Leadership
- Lead all maintenance activities across the Caprock Workforce Community, ensuring buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and common areas are maintained to established standards.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans that support daily operations, guest experience, safety, and long-term facility reliability.
- Direct preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, inspections, and work-order priorities across the site.
- Respond to maintenance issues quickly, ensuring problems are properly diagnosed, repaired, documented, and followed through to completion.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, train, and develop the maintenance team, establishing clear expectations for performance, safety, quality, and accountability.
- Plan daily team priorities, assign work based on operational needs, and ensure individual and team performance meets Aramark and client expectations.
- Recruit, assess, train, coach, recognize, and manage employee performance while building a strong maintenance team.
- Direct the work of maintenance employees and make or influence employment decisions, including hiring, promotions, performance management, and other changes in status.
Preventive Maintenance and Work Orders
- Establish and maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for facilities, equipment, and building systems throughout Caprock.
- Manage maintenance requests and work orders from assignment through completion using the site's CMMS or maintenance management system.
- Track preventive maintenance schedules, equipment history, recurring issues, and completed work to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, reporting, and inspection requirements.
Facilities and Repairs
- Oversee maintenance and repair of building systems and general facility needs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures, carpentry, lighting, doors, locks, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and determine whether work should be completed internally or through a qualified outside provider.
- Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure quality, safety, and operational standards are met.
- Maintain appropriate tools, equipment, replacement parts, and maintenance supplies required to support site operations.
Vendors, Safety and Compliance
- Manage maintenance contractors, service providers, and vendors, ensuring work quality, timelines, safety requirements, and site expectations are met.
- Partner with operations, purchasing, safety, and other site leaders to coordinate maintenance projects, equipment needs, and operational priorities.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable Aramark, client, regulatory, and site safety requirements.
- Identify facility or equipment conditions that could create safety or operational risks and take appropriate corrective action.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a related maintenance environment.
- At least 1 to 2 years of maintenance leadership or management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance employees and organize work across multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility operations.
- Ability to manage as part of a larger operational team while independently leading the maintenance function.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, maintenance requests, and operational priorities at the same time.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, operational leaders, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Ability to work on site at the Caprock Workforce Community outside Pampa, Texas.
