Aramark Nexus is hiring Housekeepers to support hospitality operations at the Caprock Workforce Community near Mobeetie, Texas, approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, Hotel Housekeeper, Environmental Services Technician, Custodian, Janitor, Cleaning Technician, or Hospitality Cleaning Professional who take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining guest accommodations, common areas, and facilities throughout the community. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly impact the comfort, safety, and overall experience of the people who live and work at Caprock.

Free Room and Board

This position includes free room and board at Caprock for the duration of employment in the role. Team members receive private on-site housing and three meals per day at no cost, providing an opportunity to significantly reduce everyday living expenses while working at Caprock.

Housing is provided in a private, single-occupancy unit with a bed, work area, television, dedicated bathroom and shower, and in-room connectivity. Team members may return home during scheduled time off, providing flexibility while maintaining their Caprock housing.

Caprock is a professional workforce community. Visitors and pets are not permitted in employee housing. The community is designed with safety, security, convenience, and quality of life in mind, with additional amenities continuing to be added as Caprock grows.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with accurate preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in department policy.
• Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Diligently employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled, and all equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintains professional conduct at all times.
• Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.

Qualifications

• Past cleaning experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands
   

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
