Job Description
The Installation Technician plays a critical role in the successful execution of new client installations, equipment moves, market remodels, and refresh initiatives. This position is responsible for the delivery, assembly, installation, and setup of vending equipment, micro market fixtures, coffee systems, filtration equipment, and related client-facing solutions.
In addition to installation responsibilities, this role supports day-to-day field operations by performing Service Technician duties when installation work is not actively scheduled. This includes equipment service, repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support across client locations.
This role requires a mechanically inclined, safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high-quality client experience. Installation Technicians regularly partner with Operations, Sales, Service, and Client teams to ensure installations and service work are completed efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute installations, removals, relocations, and refreshes of vending machines, micro markets, coffee equipment, and related Refreshments solutions
- Assemble and install modular cabinetry, shelving, kiosks, signage, and market components
- Transport equipment and materials safely to and from customer locations
- Install and connect water filtration systems and related equipment
- Safely operate company vehicles, including DOT-regulated vehicles, box trucks, and lift gate equipment
- Utilize material handling equipment including pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, and other lifting equipment where applicable
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation and equipment-related issues in the field
Perform Service Technician responsibilities including:
- Equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance
- Emergency service calls
- Equipment testing and calibration
- Parts replacement and operational repairs
- Client support and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate service, installation, and inventory documentation
- Support mobilizations, special projects, acquisitions, and operational initiatives as needed
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety standards, DOT regulations, food safety requirements, and client expectations
- Represent Aramark Refreshments professionally while interacting with clients and customers

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Active DOT certification or ability to successfully obtain and maintain DOT clearance prior to operating regulated vehicles
- Experience safely operating box trucks and lift gate equipment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
- Basic working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment assembly/repair
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel as business needs require
- Strong customer service and communication skills
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
