Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator assists with the implementation and execution of marketing programs which support base business growth, client retention and improved profit margins within a single account. The Marketing Coordinator helps to support all critical business initiatives including sales growth, market penetration, customer and client retention, consumer engagement, improved margins and market share for their account and Aramark Collegiate Hospitality.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing and implementing base business growth programs and strategies to improve market penetration and increase voluntary meal plan participation/sales. Helps to ensure all promotions, applicable sales enablers and other Executional Framework initiatives are implemented across the account.
- Collaborates with Marketing Manager and operations team to assist in writing the Account Growth Plan and is accountable for the data and results entered into the Meal Plan Analytics database.
- Interacts with leadership team and maintains effective partner and customer relations as well as maintains strong relationships with all levels of the Aramark team to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Looks for opportunities to implement new innovations, technology solutions, products and services which support sales growth and client retention.
- Measures results of marketing programs and gains customer feedback.
- Ensures participation in DiningStyles and Voice of the Consumer (VOC) and presents results at team and client meetings each semester.
- Manages website content, enhancements, and further development
- Designs location specific traditional, digital, and social marketing campaigns; measure the effectiveness and sales data for each initiative
- Works with and influences student marketing intern(s) to ensure all program logistics/graphics are complete.
- Manages student peer to peer groups to ensure proper execution of voluntary meal plan selling.
- Ensures necessary training and support are provided to the account and that brand standards are fully executed at all identified points of service, resulting in sustainable growth in sales, profit, and customer satisfaction.
- Works collaboratively with Channel Growth team to implement all national programs.
- Supports front line management with administration of marketing, Service Excellence and Suggestive Selling training and development programs for employees.
- Creates promotion calendars and is responsible for updating all web-based tools and social media, ensures consistent campus-wide signage and appropriate menu signage in place.
- Participates in the contract re-bid/extension process for their account. Assists other region marketing team members with MarketMATCH®, MarketPLAN or MarketVIEW processes at other accounts.
- Works collaboratively with MM and GM or RDM to update the Client and Annual Business Review.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Requires content creation experience (blogs, press releases, internal communication, social media posts)
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An eye for design and branding
• Strong research, project management and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
• Excellent project management skills with a proactive approach to all projects
