Job Description

The Guest Experience Supervisor is responsible for overseeing front-of-house dining operations while leading guest engagement, marketing execution, and program development initiatives across residential dining, retail operations, catering, and campus dining programs. The position provides direct supervision to front-of-house employees and student workers, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and exceptional dining experience for guests.

As a member of the Dining Services leadership team, the Guest Experience Supervisor serves as the primary leader of dining room operations, overseeing service standards, employee performance, guest satisfaction, and day-to-day front-of-house execution. In addition, this role supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, guest engagement initiatives, meal plan promotions, special events, and service improvement programs designed to increase participation and enhance the overall dining experience.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Dining Room & Front of House Supervision

  • Directly supervise front-of-house employees and student workers during daily dining operations.
  • Oversee dining room operations, ensuring service, cleanliness, hospitality, and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, shift assignments, and labor deployment based on operational needs.
  • Conduct employee coaching, training, onboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Support opening, closing, and operational inspections of dining facilities.

Guest Experience & Marketing

  • Develop and execute guest engagement and marketing initiatives that promote participation in dining services.
  • Coordinate theme meals, promotional events, meal plan campaigns, and campus outreach activities.
  • Gather and analyze guest feedback, survey results, and participation trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop guest-facing communications including digital signage, social media content, and promotional materials.
  • Partner with operational leadership to implement programs that improve guest satisfaction and business results.

Qualifications

•    Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions 
•    Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
•    Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
•    Ability to perform basic arithmetic

•    Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
•    Strong organizational skills
