Reporting into the General Manager, the Café Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role involves managing staff, inventory, and financial performance while upholding Aramark's standards of quality and service.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, and service.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for customers, address any complaints or issues promptly, and maintain high standards of service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the café is well-stocked.
  • Financial Management: Manage the café's budget, track sales and expenses, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and conduct regular inspections.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers and increase sales, including promotions and special events.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on café performance, including sales, expenses, and customer feedback.

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and ordering systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
