Title:  Catering Services Receiving and Inventory Lead

Job Description

The Catering Services Receiving & Inventory Lead will primarily be responsible for placing and receiving orders, as well as communicating with both the Aramark Leadership Team on the Airport Campus and the Aramark Catering team on the Airport Campus. The Catering Services Receiving & Inventory Lead will work closely with the Catering Manager, the Production Manager, and the Catering Chef de Cuisine to ensure all appropriate product is ordered, delivered, and arranged neatly and clearly in catering areas. 

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring, tracking, and recording inventory levels daily, weekly, or monthly as needed based on product
• Ordering additional inventory when stocks are low
• Sourcing suppliers and maintaining relationships with them
• Addressing problems in supply and delivery and finding appropriate solutions
• Utilizing catering calendars for forecasting future inventory needs
• Maintaining neat and orderly catering stock areas utilizing FIFO to prevent loss through expiration
• Coordinate with Catering Chef on incoming orders
• Assist Catering Culinary team with maintaining inventory of pre-portioned items 
• All other duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting required.  

• Prior experience with booking of events preferred. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
