We’re in search of a strategic advisor and champion of employee experience to join our team as Human Resources Manager with one of our single enterprise clients, overseeing a national multi-site portfolio! This role provides critical support to people leaders across these sites, partnering to offer guidance on employee performance, inclusive workplace culture, and overall operational excellence to ensure a world-class hospitality experience for our client. The Human Resources Manager will sit in our NYC location!

 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.  If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for all employee lifecycle related matters, including support in the recruiting process.
  • Provide guidance to people leaders across the multi-site portfolio on matters of employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary process.
  • Ensure the positive and informative onboarding of both hourly and salaried staff by providing leaders with the necessary materials and providing in-person or virtual support when possible.
  • Prepare and maintain employee detail reports, providing relevant detail to the larger HR and Finance functions as needed.
  • Championing an inclusive workplace culture, highlighting the Employee Resource Groups and community connection points offered by Aramark to recognize the unique perspectives and talents of all employees.
  • Provide guidance to employees on available benefits, leave resources, and accommodation procedures.
  • Maintain consistent and clear lines of communication with leaders within the portfolio, sharing relevant company policy changes and updates, legal considerations, and organization requirements as necessary.
  • Provide timely support to leaders when matters of urgent disciplinary action arise.
  • Partner with the larger HR organization to share information related to learning and development opportunities for both salaried and hourly staff, as well as employee engagement offerings.
  • Perform routine employee detail maintenance within the HRIS, as well as educating managers and employees on proper usage of the HRIS as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or the equivalent in-role experience
  • Proven success in an HR role, preferably with multi-site experience
  • Bilingual: fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Strong leadership and influential team-building capabilities – encouraging and empowering all staff to understand and enact company policy and procedure.
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms and digital documentation tools
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, including timely follow-through and capability to communicate with leaders at all levels
  • Results focused problem-solving ability
  • A self-motivating and driven approach, with the capacity to work autonomously
  • An innate desire to provide exceptional hospitality experience to our clients
  • A willingness to travel as needed to client sites outside of the immediate NY/NJ area, including sites in Texas, Florida, and others across the US
