Title:  Environmental Services Trainer - Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Job Description

The EVS Trainer is responsible for planning and establishing a training program for the department. This person will conduct training needs analysis, design and manage a departmental training program, and conduct follow-up evaluations.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and establish a regular cadence for the department training program and follow-up with managers and associates on performance gaps.
• Conduct program development including specifying learning objective, preparing program content, developing instructional material, and organizing the format for delivery.
• Coordinate with clients departments as neccessary to ensure consistency of program objectives are aligned with Aramark operation and client standards.
• Customize training to meet the needs of the staffing.
• Assist in the work quality evaluation by montioring employee performance according to performance standards.
• Manage administrative responsibilities for training classes.
• Audits service and quality on a regular basis. 
• Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily. 
• Develops and implements strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals. 
• Supervisory responsbility for employees assisting eith on-the-job training and new employee orientation
• Supports and implements training programs that develop skills to better serve guests, build repeat business, grow revenue, and improve morale. 
• Assists in annual employee reviews and supervises interim performance issues. 
• Supervisor accurate adherence to Aramark's time and attendance procedures. 
• All employees to be trained according to company standards for safety, health, and sanitation procedure

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience. 

• No Certifications required. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
