Job Description

The Business Analyst (BA) will support less complex project management & continuous improvement engagements executing related activities (including automation/RPA) through full process lifecycles, managing multi-disciplinary teams within Aramark’s Project Management Office (PMO). The BA is responsible for working with all levels in the organization, juggling multiple priorities, participating in Kaizen events, communicate and execute tasks as part of change management plans while reporting project statuses to key Stakeholders. In some cases, the BA will be responsible for core project management activities including ensuring the scope of projects are well defined, creating project plans, identifying resources, setting up and coordinating meetings, data analysis, and managing critical path across projects. 
In addition, the BA will assist and share best practices with other team members to include the Project Manager Community of Practice. The role may be expected to utilize project delivery tools such as SmartSheet, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Redmine, and other project tracking products daily as required.
In some agreed upon cases, the BA will be responsible specifically for reporting including partnering & coordinating with various teams within Aramark’s Global Business Services (GBS) and providing supporting services through developing & delivering financial reporting, key performance indicatory tracking and evaluation of various functional processes ensuring the integrity of all data through validation of sources and continual review for accuracy with all functions. When financial reporting is the focus of a BA they will be expected to utilize and understand the capabilities of PowerBI, SSIS, MS SQL Server and other data flow & presentation tools.
The BA will apply knowledge and skills to a range of activities that include composing and facilitating meetings (some virtual) and drive deliverables against determined timelines following six sigma, lean and project management methodologies. This position exemplifies strong relationship building skills and a comfort working with all levels in an organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of consistent project completion are a must.  

Job Responsibilities

3.    Effective Communication: Regularly update the project team, stakeholders, and management of deliverables and potential issues / risks using project planning tools like SmartSheet and other tracking products. 

4.    Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements.
5.    Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables simultaneously.
6.    Proven track record of deliverable execution with consistent timeliness and quality outcomes.
7.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8.    Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, cross functional teams, vendors and management using exceptional interpersonal skills.
9.    Gather and analyze data from multiple sources; develop reports and key risk indicators.
10.    Structure and communicate business challenges clearly.
11.    Be an active participant in discussions, meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred or equivalent field/hands on work experience required
•    Minimum 2 years demonstrated project management or business/finance analytics experience in large, multi-functional organization required.
•    Experience designing & storytelling via data visualization
•    Excellent aptitude and adoption of technology tools to facilitate efficiency. Hands on PowerBI, data modeling, DAX development, and dashboard design is a plus.
•    Experience directing the work of others and coordinate diverse cross functional teams
•    Must be able to work under tight timelines and have excellent organization and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting activities
•    Ability to create a variety of documentation and communications
•    Ability to cope with change and work effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
•    Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
•    Must be detail oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
•    This is not a remote position
