Job Description
Aramark Nexus is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to support daily housekeeping operations at Caprock, a large-scale workforce housing and hospitality community located near Mobeetie, Texas, approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa.
The Housekeeping Coordinator plays an important role in keeping our housekeeping department running smoothly by managing employee schedules, tracking room readiness, coordinating communication, maintaining operational records, and supporting housekeeping leadership. This position works closely with housekeeping supervisors, managers, and frontline employees to ensure guest rooms, residential accommodations, public spaces, and operational facilities consistently meet our cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in housekeeping administration, hotel operations, hospitality coordination, or workforce scheduling, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is an on-site position offering the opportunity to work in a growing hospitality operation with free private housing and meals provided for eligible employees.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain daily housekeeping schedules, staffing assignments, and employee rosters to ensure appropriate coverage across the property.

Monitor guest room status, cleaning progress, and room readiness using housekeeping and property management systems, including Optii and Opera.

Track employee attendance, call-outs, overtime, labor hours, and staffing changes while maintaining accurate department records.

Prepare daily housekeeping reports, productivity summaries, staffing updates, and operational dashboards for department leadership.

Support employee onboarding, orientation, training coordination, and maintenance of required employee documentation.

Coordinate housekeeping supply requests, linen inventories, equipment tracking, and inventory records to support uninterrupted operations.

Assist housekeeping supervisors with room inspections, maintenance work orders, service requests, and follow-up activities.

Maintain organized records of standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety documentation, inspections, audits, and compliance requirements.

Communicate daily priorities, schedule adjustments, operational updates, and service expectations to housekeeping employees and supervisors.

Work closely with Guest Services, Facilities, and other operational departments to resolve room status discrepancies and coordinate guest-ready accommodations.

Identify scheduling gaps, reporting discrepancies, and operational issues, escalating concerns to housekeeping leadership as needed.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Manager, and Supervisors to maintain efficient department operations.
Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping coordination, hospitality administration, hotel operations, workforce scheduling, or a related administrative position preferred.

Experience supporting a hotel, resort, residential community, workforce housing operation, or other high-volume service environment preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, reports, documentation, and competing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Experience with Opera PMS, Optii housekeeping software, or similar property management and housekeeping systems preferred.

Ability to maintain accurate records, track operational metrics, and prepare clear reports for management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.

Understanding of housekeeping operations, room inspections, cleanliness standards, and basic inventory management.

Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally and maintain accurate administrative records.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospitality environment where operational priorities may change.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting frontline teams.

Must be able to work on-site at Caprock near Mobeetie, Texas, with flexibility to support housekeeping operational needs.
