Job Description

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Front of House Lead to support dining hall operations at Caprock, a large-scale workforce housing community located near Mobeetie and Pampa, Texas.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in food service, hospitality, restaurant operations, or dining hall supervision who enjoys leading a team and delivering excellent guest service.

As a Front of House Lead, you will oversee daily dining room activities, support and train front-of-house employees, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.

You'll work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment serving individuals who live and work at Caprock. This is an opportunity to build your leadership experience while helping create a welcoming dining experience for our guests.

Compensation

• $20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house dining hall employees during assigned shifts to ensure efficient daily operations.

• Assign daily responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure team members complete tasks to established standards.

• Train, coach, and support employees on customer service, dining procedures, food safety, and sanitation.

• Deliver excellent guest service while maintaining a welcoming and professional dining environment.

• Address guest questions, concerns, and service issues promptly and professionally.

• Ensure dining tables, seating areas, and service stations are cleaned, sanitized, and reset throughout meal periods.

• Monitor beverage stations, condiment areas, and dining room supplies to ensure proper stocking and organization.

• Conduct routine dining room inspections to maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness.

• Follow and reinforce food safety, sanitation, employee hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

• Support staffing needs, shift coverage, and communication between front-of-house employees and management.

• Identify operational concerns and communicate opportunities for improvement to dining management.

• Work closely with culinary and food service teams to maintain smooth service during high-volume meal periods.

Please note: Housing is single occupancy. Pets and personal visitors are not permitted in employee housing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, restaurant operations, cafeteria operations, or a similar customer-facing environment.

• Prior team lead, shift lead, supervisor, or restaurant leadership experience preferred.

• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to train, motivate, and support employees in a team-oriented environment.

• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness standards.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume dining operation.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities during service.

• Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming attitude when interacting with guests and employees.

• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as operational needs require.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull as needed to complete daily responsibilities.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
