Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Environmental Services Director position at Riddle Hospital located in Media, PA. This is a management position, responsible for developing and executing custodial solutions to meet customer needs. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining the overall cleanliness of a physical location or site to client specifications. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Department, including, but not limited to, overall cleanliness of the facility, patient room cleaning, bed turnaround times, floor care, trash removal and biohazardous waste handling. Drives patient satisfaction and HCAHPS scores. This role will also be responsible for developing and executing patient transport solutions. Offers a wide variety of patient transport solutions to meet customer and client needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements. Deliver client and company financial targets.
- Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
- Oversees the management of the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping)
- Oversees Linen Distribution
- Ensures the Distribution of supplies, holds shift huddles, scheduling and training. Monitors performance.
- Manages floor care, trash removal and biohazardous waste removal, overall cleanliness of the building, and patient room cleaning.
- Conducts rounding with patients, service recovery, quality audits and inspections.
- Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders
- Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs

Qualifications
- Requires at least 3-5 years experience in a related Management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare experience required
- Strong financial acumen required
- Excellent communication skills required, both oral and written.
