Job Description

The Dining Room Manager at Asbury Bethany Village is an important member of the dining leadership team, helping shape the resident dining experience across the community. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who brings strong hospitality instincts, knows how to lead and develop a team, and wants a voice in how a dining program comes to life. 
 
You'll oversee daily front of house operations while partnering with culinary and community leadership on the direction of the food and dining program. You'll also play a key role in catering and special events, with opportunities to bring creativity to menus, events, and experiences that make dining memorable for residents and guests. 

Job Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop dining team members.
  • Recruit, train, and manage employee performance.
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Recognize and reward employee contributions.

Operations & Resident Experience

  • Oversee daily dining operations.
  • Develop and implement dining service plans.
  • Manage food production, service delivery, and menu execution.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, clients, and community leadership.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and service recovery when needed. 

Financial Management

  • Manage food, labor, and operating costs.
  • Own budget performance and P&L accountability.
  • Monitor forecasts, inventory, and operational variances.
  • Achieve food and labor targets.

Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with Aramark standards.
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Food service, hospitality, senior living, healthcare dining, or related operational leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
