Job Description
At Aramark, we’re looking for a motivated, reliable, hands-on Catering Event Supervisor to help lead our catering and event operations team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering smooth, well-executed events and excellent guest experiences. You’ll be responsible for supervising, training, and managing food and beverage service during events while ensuring the team runs efficiently and guests are happy.
Uniform: Employees are expected to wear non-slip shoes, dress shirt/blouse, blazer, dress pants, and name tag. Maintaining a neat, professional appearance is required at all times
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
● Lead and supervise servers, runners, drivers, bartenders, and event staff
● Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure events are set up and executed as planned
● Attend weekly BEO meetings and coordinate closely with sales, culinary, and catering teams
● Manage event timelines, service flow, and staffing needs
● Serve as the main on-site point of contact for staff, clients, and culinary teams
● Lead pre-shift meetings to review assignments, timelines, and special requests
● Support event setup, service, and breakdown as needed
● Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are met
● Train, coach, and support staff while promoting teamwork and efficiency
● Monitor staff performance, attendance, and appearance; provide coaching as needed
● Handle guest questions and concerns professionally
● Oversee cash handling, POS procedures, and responsible alcohol service
● Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health standards throughout events
● Complete post-event duties including breakdown, inventory, and reporting
● Proactively plan and prepare for upcoming events
● Maintain accurate inventory weekly and protect company assets
● Communicate effectively with managers, culinary teams, and internal clients
● Follow dress code, grooming, and appearance standards

Qualifications
● Previous banquet, catering, or event leadership experience preferred
● Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
● Ability to lead a team and stay calm under pressure
● Able to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision
● Comfortable making decisions in fast-paced environments
● Comfortable working indoors and outdoors for long periods
● Able to stand for extended periods and lift 25–40 lbs
● Available to work long, irregular hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
● Reliable transportation and punctuality required
● Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service and ability to complete certificate training
● Minimum Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
