Aramark is hiring Custodial Services Workers, Custodians, and Cleaning Crew Members to support operations at the Kansas City Convention Center. This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests attending conventions, conferences, trade shows, concerts, and major citywide events.

What You'll Do

You’ll help keep the convention center clean, safe, and ready for thousands of guests. Tasks may include:

• Cleaning restrooms, exhibit halls, and meeting rooms

• Emptying trash and recycling bins

• Sweeping and mopping floors

• Wiping surfaces and high-touch areas

• Cleaning during and after events

• Keeping walkways safe and spill-free

• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guests’ needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
