Job Description
The Mechanic performs repair and maintenance of off-road vehicles (ATVs, RZRs), snowmobiles, and related automotive equipment under supervision. The Mechanic also greets guests, demonstrates safe and operational use of the equipment prior to the tour commencing, inspects the equipment before and after the tour, and generally assists customers acting as the liaison between the customer and their equipment. Strives to stay active, alert, and have a willingness to learn.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests and help them get fitted propertly with helmet and goggles
- Prepare the recreation machines (ATVs, RZRs, snowmobiles, etc.) for customers
- Inform and provide demonstration of machine to customeres, highlighting safety mechanisms
- Upon return of the guests' tour, inspect machines for damage. Follow protocal to report any damage as needed.
- Wash and clean machines to prep for future tours
- Changes oil, filters, lubricates chassis, and other general preventative maintenance repairs as well as any other required inspections.
- Mounts and dismounts tires on off-road vehicles as well as support equipment
- Operates battery chargers, welding equipment, and machines required for performing repair and maintenance of vehicles.
- Assists higher level technicians when needed.
- Assists in cleaning and organization of the shop.
- Operates a desktop computer to complete work orders and to charge out parts as required.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Employee is responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions.

Qualifications
- Experience in guest service, working with customers
- Experience maintaining and operating recreation vehicles
- Experience in operation of various tools and equipment as required.
- Experience in maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Valid Driver’s license.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
