Job Description

The .NET Applications Developer will be responsible for the technical design, development and maintenance of Avendra’s .NET based applications. This position will work with the application development teams to deliver quality software applications, provide estimates for timing and effort of development tasks, implement application software from functional and technical designs, unit test application software, and provide support for production applications.

Position Reports to IT - Director

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities 
•    Build elegant, scalable, extensible, cost-effective solutions built on the Microsoft .NET framework.
•    Focus on delivering high quality solutions based on cross-cutting functional requirements including business, performance, scalability, compatibility, internationalization, security, auditing, diagnostics & logging, and failover and disaster recovery. 
•    Provide operational and infrastructure support. Perform tasks such as maintaining code repositories, enhancements, and defect tracking status in corporate ticket tracking system, etc. 
•    Provide support during work and off hours (emergencies). This will be in form of defect fixes, identifying issues and effectively addressing them to resolution.

•    Collaborate with Business Analysis team as needed to help elicit or review business requirements.
•    Collaborate with business leaders to determine how to best use technology to enable their growth and success.

Qualifications

Role Requirements 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet the ever-changing needs and visions of the client.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle models and software-testing methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge in the following technology areas (and looking to develop these skills): 
    • .NET Framework 3.5+, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio 2017+, IIS
    • .NET Core, MVC5, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web API, SPAs
    • JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, REST, Web Services
    • Entity Framework, LINQ Designing applications using responsive framework. 
    • SQL Server, Oracle, PL/SQL

 

Travel Requirements.  Type: All modes of transportation, not to exceed 10%

 

Years of Relevant Experience.   0-2 years of experience

 

Education Requirement: 

  • Computer Science or Data Science degree preferred.

 

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $79,520.00 to $131,208.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. 


If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
