Job Description

This position will analyze and document business requirements and application objectives, as well as monitor all internal and external user feedback to ensure enhancements and fixes meet the desired functionality. Execute test cases, and triage reported defects. This position will participate in outlining and communicating appropriate courses of action, using their experience in eProcurement software, systems, and training.

 

Position Reports to: Manager, Business Analysis

 

This role is hybrid in Irvine, CA or remote preferred.

 

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities 
•    Manage production support efforts: Provide details required in tickets, coordinate with the on-site and off-shore development teams on priorities and assignments, employ agile methodologies for frequent releases, ensure timely resolution and closure for Showstopper and Critical items, follow up and communicate results with customers as required
•    Execute system and regression testing.  Verify, document, test, and follow defects through to deployment, to include proper user acceptance testing
•    Independently define requirements by leading requirement gathering sessions, create requirement documents, and obtain sign-off on requirements for supported systems
•    Chair bi-weekly sessions with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and defects to package software releases; manage projects to promote, execute, and release small to mid-sized fixes and enhancements
•    Update and maintain the enhancement/defect tracking tool through the project life cycle
•    Create customer release notes and training materials
•    Assist as subject matter expert (SME) in supported products for all external and internal stakeholders

 

Secondary Responsibilities 
•    Identify, design, and implement continuous IT process improvements (eg. AI solutions)
•    Provide emergency support on any business-critical matters involving iBE systems or applications
•    Maintain Intranet site content and knowledgebase tools for Customer Support and eCommerce

Qualifications

Role Requirements 

•    Demonstrate ability to take initiative and work independently, and with teams, with a flexible schedule
•    Strong customer relations management 
•    Strong organization skills and attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•    Ability to recognize, understand, and use cross-functional departmental knowledge
•    Strong analytical, problem solving, planning, project, and quality management skills 
•    Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, and Agile practices
•    Working knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, requirements, testing, and techniques used for application development
•    Experience in application testing, and an aptitude for learning and executing test automation solutions
•    High-level understanding of architecture and databases; Proficiency in SQL query preferred
•    Must be able to conduct meetings, user training, demos, and speak in front of an audience

Work Environment.  This job operates in an office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands. This is largely a sedentary role with some light lifting of files possibly needed.  

 

Overnight Travel Requirements.  Type: All modes of transportation  Not to exceed 10%

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $74,000 - $90,000.  If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
