Job Description

The HVAC Maintenance Worker is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• o    Inspecting and testing HVAC systems and components
  o    Identifying maintenance risks and addressing potential issues
  o    Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  o    Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems that are malfunctioning
  o    Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  o    Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  o    Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
  o    Maintaining and repairing motors, pumps, condensers, boilers, heaters, and controls
  o    Assisting with customers’ queries and providing technical advice
  o    Preparing records and reports detailing work performed
  •    Wear required PPE and maintain a professional appearance in line with Aramark standards.
  •    Contribute to a team environment and support general maintenance activities as needed.

  •    This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification preferred
• Previous HVAC experience required
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
