Shuttle Lead Coordinator will carry associates as well as employees to their respective destinations maintaining appropriate etiquette and driving expertise. This position will perform according to established procedures. In this role, employees are to maintain a high quality of service that meets and exceeds the company’s code of conduct.

To provide leadership and vision to staff through the delivery of excellent customer service of the Support Service Program. Under the direct supervision of the Valet Manager, this position will perform according to established procedures a variety of valet duties, to include but not limited to: cashier work, parking and retrieving cars, and coordinating staff resources according to current demand.   Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills required maintain a high quality of service that meets and exceeds the company code of conduct.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain all assigned loading areas in a clean and neat manner. Completes daily supervisors inspection form. 
  • Maintains vehicles in the same condition or state that the owner trusts them to our care.
  • All valet vehicle keys have a ticket and are scanned into CVPS.
  • Follows appropriate protocol for traffic rules.
  • Maintains responsibility for attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintains responsibility to keep a neat and professional personal appearance adhering to the departmental and hospital dress code.
  • Assists in enhancing productivity and efficient operations of the department.
  • Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to departmental and company annual training commitments.
  • Abides by State driver safety rules.
  • Able to provide excellent customer service in a first-impression, fast paced environment (AIDET).
  • Maintain responsibility for money handling as assigned by management, in a fair and ethical manner.
  • Complete daily inspections of immediate areas and addresses deficiencies. 
  • Assist Valet Manager with labor coordination during shift.
  • Demonstrates the components of the ICARE values statement.
  • Follows all safety rules while on the job.  Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
  • Maintains compliance with all requirements of federal, state, and local regulations and guide lines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with  Disabilities Act, as amended


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
Assist Manager in traffic flow by coordinating activity from the cash register and ramp, to the garage.  Therefore, it is anticipated that this position will arrange and/or direct service from beginning, to service completion by leading the ramp: Cashier, Drivers, and Key Person.  This person will have ultimate responsibility to provide service continuity, and a safe clean environment for other ramp team members.

Qualifications

•    A state issued Driver’s License must be carried at all times.
•    Must be fluent in verbal English
•    Position utilizes common sense with common courtesy.

 This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

High School Diploma
Minimum 1-2 years experience
