Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Food Services Retail Manager to join their team at Houston Methodist Convenience Care Centers in Katy, TX. The Food Service Retail Manager will oversee the daily operations of a branded retail food service location to ensure exceptional customer experiences, efficient operations, and financial performance. This position drives sales, maintains brand and ARAMARK standards, and ensures compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. The Food Services Retail Manager leads by example, fostering a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of retail food operations including production, merchandising, customer service, and financial performance.
- Maintains friendly, efficient, Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, co-workers and clients.
- Monitors product quality, presentation, and portion control; ensures food safety and sanitation compliance in related work areas.
- Manages inventory control, including ordering, receiving, product rotation, and waste reduction.
- Accepts, rejects, or notes discrepancy of products when not in compliance with standards.
- Works closely with director to determine method of storage, identification and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities and required space and other proper storage procedures.
- Develops and implements retail services plan to improve service, quality and profitability of service areas. Assists with budget process.
- Oversees point-of-sale operations, and daily financial reconciliation.
- Maintains sales records and prepares appropriate reports
- Analyzes sales and cost data to drive profitability and make operational adjustments as needed.
- Plans and executes marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal displays to enhance customer engagement and drive revenue.
- Participates in opening, closing, and shift change procedures, product rotation, and cleaning checklists.
- Responds promptly to customer feedback and resolves complaints to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Maintains compliance with OSHA, health department, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Enforces company policies and fosters a culture of respect, accountability, and inclusion.
- Upholds compliance with all ARAMARK standards, including Business Conduct Policy and federal/state/local regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in retail, food service, or hospitality management.

Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with clients, customers of client and support staff. Ability to write letters, summaries and reports, using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills. Position requires the ability to work with confidential employee, client and ARAMARK information
