Title:  Custodial Lead - Daikin Park

Job Description

Aramark is hiring Event Custodial Leads at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros in Houston, TX. This leadership role supports live games, concerts, and major stadium events by directing custodial crews and ensuring the ballpark remains clean, safe, and guest-ready throughout each event.

This position is ideal for experienced custodial professionals or janitorial team leads who thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to supervise teams during high-profile sporting and entertainment events. Event Leads work rotating day and night shifts based on the Astros home schedule and play a critical role in delivering a professional stadium experience for thousands of fans.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and direct custodial crews during live games and events

• Assign team members to restroom, concourse, glass, stocking, or blower crews

• Monitor cleanliness standards across concourses, seating areas, and restrooms

• Respond quickly to spills, trash overflow, and guest service needs

• Conduct quality inspections throughout the event

• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and Aramark standards

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and operations management

• Train and support custodial team members during shifts

• Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional conduct

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience required
• Previous experience in a supervisory or related role preferred
• Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guest needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
