Job Description
Aramark Nexus is hiring a Housekeeping Director to lead housekeeping operations for a new, large-scale workforce community near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo.
This full-time leadership opportunity is designed for an experienced Housekeeping Director, Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, Environmental Services Manager, EVS Manager, or hospitality housekeeping leader who has managed teams responsible for cleaning and maintaining a large number of residential or overnight-stay rooms.
The Housekeeping Director will oversee the team responsible for maintaining housing units, resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other residential spaces throughout the community. This leader will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, quality standards, room cleaning and turnover, inspections, supplies, safety, and overall housekeeping performance.
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in hotels, resorts, cruise lines, hospitals, healthcare facilities, extended-stay properties, residential communities, or similar operations where bedrooms, bathrooms, and residential spaces must be cleaned and maintained to a consistent standard.
This is a high-volume operation where housing units must be cleaned regularly and prepared efficiently as residents arrive, depart, and move throughout the community. The successful candidate will know how to build strong housekeeping teams, establish clear cleaning standards, inspect work, manage productivity, and maintain a consistently clean and welcoming residential environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead daily housekeeping operations for a large residential workforce community, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other overnight-stay spaces.
- Recruit, schedule, train, coach, and develop housekeeping managers, supervisors, room attendants, housekeepers, and support employees.
- Establish and maintain consistent cleaning, sanitation, room presentation, and quality standards across all residential areas.
- Oversee routine room cleaning, deep cleaning, room turnover, inspections, and preparation of housing units for arriving residents.
- Monitor housekeeping productivity, room status, staffing levels, cleaning schedules, and service completion to meet changing occupancy needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure housing units and common areas consistently meet cleanliness and appearance standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, chemicals, equipment, inventory levels, and appropriate product usage.
- Maintain appropriate safety, sanitation, infection prevention, chemical handling, and workplace safety standards throughout housekeeping operations.
- Partner closely with Guest Services, Facilities, Security, and other operational teams to coordinate room readiness, maintenance needs, resident concerns, and occupancy changes.
- Manage departmental labor, operating expenses, supply costs, and productivity while working within established budgets.
- Use performance data, resident feedback, inspections, and operational trends to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
- Build a service-focused housekeeping culture centered on cleanliness, accountability, teamwork, resident experience, and pride in the community.

Qualifications
- Requires 3 to 5 years of housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality cleaning, or residential cleaning experience.
- Requires previous supervisory or management experience leading housekeeping, room attendants, EVS, or residential cleaning teams.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Director, Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, EVS Manager, Environmental Services Manager, or similar leader is strongly preferred.
- Experience in a hotel, resort, cruise line, hospital, healthcare facility, extended-stay property, residential community, or other overnight-stay environment is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing room cleaning, room turnover, deep cleaning, inspections, and quality standards across a large number of residential or guest rooms.
- Strong experience scheduling and managing housekeeping employees based on occupancy, workload, and changing operational needs.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, cleaning equipment, sanitation procedures, linen management, and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience managing housekeeping supplies, inventory, budgets, labor productivity, and operating expenses.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant housekeeping leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using scheduling, housekeeping, property management, or operational systems.
- Schedule flexibility is required and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of a 24/7 residential operation.

Location and Future On-Site Housing
This position will support a new project located near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo. Additional details regarding the specific work location will be shared with candidates as they move through the hiring process.
As the project develops, free on-site room and board is planned to become available for eligible employees. This will include housing and meals provided at no cost, creating an option for employees who prefer to live closer to the worksite rather than commute each day. Additional information about housing, availability, amenities, and timing will be provided as those services become available.
