Aramark Nexus is hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support housekeeping operations for a new, large-scale workforce community near Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo.
This full-time management opportunity is designed for an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, Environmental Services Supervisor, EVS Supervisor, or hospitality housekeeping leader who has experience leading teams responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential or overnight-stay rooms.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will report to the Housekeeping Director and help lead the team responsible for maintaining housing units, resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other residential spaces throughout the community.
This role will have hands-on responsibility for daily housekeeping operations, employee supervision, scheduling, training, room cleaning and turnover, inspections, quality standards, supplies, safety, and productivity. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will work closely with the Housekeeping Director to ensure the department is appropriately staffed and that housing units are consistently clean, prepared, and ready for residents.
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in hotels, resorts, cruise lines, hospitals, healthcare facilities, extended-stay properties, residential communities, or similar high-volume environments where bedrooms, bathrooms, and residential spaces must be cleaned and maintained to a consistent standard.
This is a fast-moving, high-volume operation where housing units must be cleaned regularly and prepared efficiently as residents arrive, depart, and move throughout the community. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading from the floor, supporting employees, inspecting work, managing priorities, and maintaining strong housekeeping standards in a 24/7 operating environment.
Compensation

Base Salary: $55,000 to $75,000 per year

Location and On-Site Housing
This position will support a new Aramark Nexus project located outside Hereford, Texas, within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo. This is an on-site leadership position supporting a large-scale workforce community and is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.
Free on-site room and board is included with this position. Housing and meals will be provided at no cost, creating an option for employees to live close to the worksite rather than commute each day.
Additional details regarding the specific work location, housing, amenities, and move-in timing will be shared with candidates during the hiring process.
This location language is consistent with the current Nexus postings for the Hereford-area project, which describe the operation as near Hereford and within driving distance of both Hereford and Amarillo.
Job Responsibilities

Support the Housekeeping Director in leading daily housekeeping operations for a large residential workforce community, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other overnight-stay spaces.

Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, and daily direction to housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, housekeepers, and support employees.

Assist with employee scheduling and daily assignments based on occupancy, room turnover requirements, staffing levels, and operational priorities.

Monitor routine room cleaning, deep cleaning, room turnover, inspections, and preparation of housing units for arriving residents.

Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, and presentation standards are consistently achieved.

Monitor housekeeping productivity, room status, service completion, staffing levels, and daily workload to ensure operational expectations are met.

Help establish and reinforce cleaning procedures, quality standards, productivity expectations, and departmental processes.

Assist with onboarding and training new housekeeping employees on cleaning standards, equipment usage, chemicals, safety requirements, and resident service expectations.

Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, chemicals, equipment, and inventory levels while promoting appropriate product usage and cost control.

Maintain strong safety, sanitation, infection prevention, chemical handling, and workplace safety practices throughout housekeeping operations.

Partner with Guest Services, Facilities, Security, and other operational departments to coordinate room readiness, maintenance needs, resident concerns, and occupancy changes.

Assist the Housekeeping Director with labor management, operating expenses, supply costs, and departmental productivity.

Respond to operational issues, employee concerns, resident needs, and service gaps while escalating significant concerns to the Housekeeping Director as appropriate.

Use inspections, performance data, employee feedback, and resident feedback to identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, and overall housekeeping performance.

Help build a housekeeping culture centered on cleanliness, accountability, teamwork, safety, resident experience, and pride in the community.

Qualifications

Requires 3 to 5 years of housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality cleaning, residential cleaning, or related operational experience.

Previous supervisory experience leading housekeeping, room attendants, EVS employees, or residential cleaning teams is strongly preferred.

Previous experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, EVS Supervisor, Environmental Services Supervisor, or similar leader is preferred.

Experience in a hotel, resort, cruise line, hospital, healthcare facility, extended-stay property, residential community, or other overnight-stay environment is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience with room cleaning, room turnover, deep cleaning, inspections, and quality standards across residential or guest rooms.

Experience scheduling and directing housekeeping employees based on occupancy, workload, turnover requirements, and changing operational needs.

Working knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, cleaning equipment, sanitation procedures, linen management, and workplace safety requirements.

Experience managing housekeeping supplies, inventory, labor productivity, and daily operating expenses.

Strong leadership, communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to provide clear direction, hold employees accountable, and maintain a positive and professional working environment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues quickly and take corrective action.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using scheduling, housekeeping, property management, or operational systems.

High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule flexibility is required and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of a 24/7 residential operation.

Ability to work on-site near Hereford, Texas, and operate effectively within a large-scale residential workforce community.
