Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $40.00 to $50.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on sinks, toilets, showers, faucets, drains, piping, and related plumbing fixtures.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in dorm rooms, basements, utility closets, classrooms, offices, and public areas across campus.

Repair, replace, and maintain plumbing components including valves, fixtures, pipes, fittings, and drainage systems.

Respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Inspect plumbing systems and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.

Clear clogged drains and repair leaks to maintain safe and functional facilities.

Complete preventive maintenance activities and document completed work.Use hand tools, power tools, drain cleaning equipment, and plumbing diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while following campus safety protocols.

Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, clients, and coworkers.

Participate in rotating on-call coverage and respond to after-hours emergency plumbing issues when required.

Follow all Aramark safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Valid P-2 Plumbing License.
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience in both residential and commercial settings.
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete work efficiently and meet service expectations.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Ability to work frequent overtime, weekends, and rotating on-call assignments.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work in mechanical rooms, utility spaces, dormitories, and occupied buildings.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in higher education, campus, healthcare, hospitality, or large institutional facilities.
- Preventive maintenance experience in multi-building environments.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
