The Restaurant Captain – Bar & FOH Operations is responsible for overseeing front-of-house service with a primary focus on bar operations. This hourly leadership role ensures high-quality service, operational efficiency, and an outstanding guest experience, while supporting and guiding FOH team members.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring adherence to Aramark standards for quality, safety, and service

- Oversee cocktail preparation, recipe consistency, and presentation standards

- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage pairings

- Act as a floor leader, directing FOH staff

- Support, coach, and mentor bartenders and service staff

- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and FOH areas

- Assist with inventory and product control

- Address and resolve guest concerns

- Collaborate with BOH and management teams

- Step into service roles as needed

- Support opening/closing duties including cash handling

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant leadership or bartending experience required

- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations

- Knowledge of food and alcohol pairings

- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- POS and cash handling experience preferred

2+ years of restaurant experience

Prior bartending experience required

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
