Job Description

The Recycler/Material Handler's main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Shift Info:

6am-6pm; Friday, Saturday, Sunday and alternating Thursday's

 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

 

    • Move Recycled items (Plastic, Cardboard, Trash, Cup Bins, Straps) from Production areas and bring to Recycling room for proper disposal
    • Load recycling trailers with Filter paper bales and baled recycled products
    • Operate forklifts within Safety standards
    • Maintain/switch batteries in lifts per Material Handling procedures
    • Report forklift maintenance issues/error codes and fill out inspection sheets daily
    • Maintain high levels of housekeeping as it pertains to Aramar standards
    • Operate semi-automatic pallet wrappers as needed
    • Communicate with Manager, the removal of full trailers with Shipping Company
    • Coordinate Trailer swaps with site shuttle drivers
    • Operate Paper Baler, Plastic baler, Trash, Compost and Cardboard compactors
    • Adhere to all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations and policies
    • Perform other material handling duties as needed
    • Must be able to execute duties safely and efficiently to keep up with demand

Qualifications

 

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • 1-2 years of Material Handling knowledge of basic warehouse principles required
    • Intermediate to high computer skills
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
    • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
    • Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment
    • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
    • Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for 12 hour shifts
    • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally
    • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift
    • Ability to push/pull up to 1.500 pounds using supplied equipment
    • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
