Job Description

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock/product, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. 

Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), attend drivers in a timely matter. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for the close out of returns from the private fleet. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Various office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting
• Manage paperwork associated with loads being shipped and filing
• Manage workflow for the shipping team
• Involve Safety team as required by location
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in a similar role. 
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks 
• May act as an informal resource for those with less experience 
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Basic math and counting skills required 
• Operates with limited supervision 
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends 
   

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
