Job Description

Commissary Support Manager executes Aramark’s commissary strategy. The manager will lead the delivery of critical initiatives to help create, launch and grow base-business within commissary, e-commerce, vending, and other commissary programs.  This position is responsible for focusing on the established priorities for commissary programs, as well as enhancing ways to educate and train. The manager will work with Regional Vice Presidents and Regional Finance Directors to understand priorities and execute on business opportunities.  A successful manager will have the ability to foster strong partnerships with the Regional Operational Teams, District Managers, RVP and customers as well.  

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the development of commissary growth and profit targets for the region and LOB.  


•    Manage commissary priorities including menu pricing, creation of and implementation of new programs, leading operational excellence, and driving a retail and customer service culture.
•    Develop product pricing strategies across assigned region.
•    Create strategy for development and enhancement of menus.
•    Work closely with supply chain to understand how upcoming product and price changes will impact menus and work proactively to communication changes and direction to the field.
•    Participate in RFP sales support (to include menu design & COGS development) for commissary new business and retention pursuits.
•    Work with cross-functional teams on operational improvement initiatives.
•    Project management duties for assigned projects.
•    Execute initiatives & action plans to improve financial & KPI target results.
•    Utilize analytical expertise to evaluate commissary program standards, measure performance and recommend solutions in order to enhance or improve operations and sales.
•    Assist in the implementation and facilitation of programmatic training programs for commissary frontline managers and employees.

Qualifications

•    A bachelor’s degree.
•    Four to eight years operations management experience, preferably in a corrections commissary operations environment. 
•    Position requires ~80% travel to various locations across the region.   
•    Demonstrated ability to focus & manage multiple priorities.
•    Strong written and oral communication skills along with presentation skills
•    Very strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
•    Ability to influence without formal authority.
