Job Description

The National Relationship Manager is responsible for activating national catering solutions from a centralized location, ensuring a seamless experience for clients across multiple markets. This role requires strong strategic and operational expertise to oversee catering orders, build and maintain client relationships, source and vet caterers, and establish service standards that align with client expectations. The National Relationship Manager will serve as the primary liaison between clients and catering partners, ensuring excellence in execution and consistency in service.

Job Responsibilities

•    Client Engagement & Relationship Management
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients placing catering orders.
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with client personnel to understand their needs and expectations.
•    Provide consultative support to clients in selecting catering solutions that best meet their event requirements.
•    Catering Vendor Management
•    Source, vet, and onboard catering partners across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
•    Evaluate caterers based on quality, reliability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
•    Negotiate contracts and service agreements with catering vendors.
•    Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance
•    Review catering orders for accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with client requirements.
•    Develop, implement, and audit service standards to ensure consistency and quality.
•    Monitor vendor performance and address service issues promptly to maintain high client satisfaction.
•    Process Improvement & Strategic Planning
•    Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in national catering operations.
•    Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to innovate and optimize catering solutions.
•    Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve overall event execution.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
•    7+ years of experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality management, with a focus on multi-market operations.
•    Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management abilities.
•    Detail-oriented with a proven track record of successfully executing large-scale catering programs.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
•    Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Willingness to travel as needed.
