Job Description

Environmental Services Operations / EVS Manager in Training, is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications.  Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Own and be accountable for operational management and financial performance
  • Coach and align employees on goals, expectations, and execution
  • Recognize and reward employee performance
  • Identify, engage, and develop top talent
  • Lead and plan effective team management meetings
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards

Client Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Model and deliver WEST-driven customer service excellence
  • Support new business development and client retention
  • Develop programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds, maintenance) to meet client requirements

Financial Performance

  • Drive revenue growth and manage budgets, including labor, supply, and inventory controls
  • Maintain accurate and timely departmental financial statements
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Adopt all Aramark systems and processes; eliminate manual/custom reporting
  • Analyze performance metrics and trends; educate teams to improve margins

Productivity

  • Implement and maintain GM agenda for labor and total quality management
  • Drive value through operational efficiency, cost control, and profit management
  • Ensure consistent application of Aramark operating standards, with focus on sustainability, energy reduction, and labor productivity

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
