Job Description

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for leading one of the Accounts Payable Departments within Aramark’s Global Business Services. This role will train, direct, and hold accountable members of the department to complete various transactional activities within defined service level agreements. The Accounts Payable Supervisor reports to the Regional Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities

Drive for Results: Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices & expense vouchers while maintaining accurate financial records 
2.    Manage courageously: Supervises an Accounts Payable staff that is providing accounting services, executing financial policies and procedures while maintaining appropriate internal controls 
3.    Simplifies the Agenda: Communicate clearly and effectively with the staff; provide them with guidance, instruction, and feedback
4.    Decision-Making: Make informed and timely decisions that affect the entire Department
5.    Supervise, train and evaluate the AP staff ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
6.    Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables simultaneously
7.    Proven track record of managed delivery with consistent timeliness and quality outcomes
8.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
9.    Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, cross functional teams, vendors and management using exceptional interpersonal skills
10.    Facilitate discussions, conduct meetings and drive initiatives and issues to conclusion
11.    Implement and improve accounts payable systems and processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy


 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Business or related field a plus
•    Minimum 5 years demonstrated project management experience in large, multi-functional organization; Accounting & Finance experience a plus
•    Excellent aptitude and adoption of technology tools to facilitate efficiency 
•    Experience directing the work of others and coordinate diverse cross functional teams
•    Ability to cope with change and work effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
•    Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
•    A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
•    May require non-standard work hours
•    This is NOT a remote position
