Title:  Student Marketing Intern - Univ. of Central Ark

Job Description

As a Marketing Intern, you will assist the marketing team with events across campus. Assist in event planning, marketing and execution. This position is ideal for a nutrition student in any track.  Prior experience isn’t the most important thing – we're looking for students who are ready to be trailblazers with Aramark. 
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.  

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the culinary team, campus Registered Dietitian, and nutrition interns to plan events.
• Assist in updating signage throughout the dining halls
• Support nutrient analysis for all food items served
• Conduct audits at campus dining locations regularly
• Create content for social media
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensure the security of company assets
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous relevant working experience is preferred
• An interest in pursuing work in the nutrition field
• Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward students, clients, and co-workers
• Ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic
• The ideal candidate will be a current student at Fordham University.

This role may have physical demands, including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
