Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll take a hands-on approach in focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations. Our Chef Manager will also play a key role in helping us meet budget requirements and execute company-delivered programs.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-end, innovative pastry concepts for a variety of campus-wide events and daily service operations.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation across all pastry offerings.
- Mentor and inspire a skilled pastry team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with executive chefs, catering managers, and event planners to deliver customized, show-stopping dessert experiences.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and seasonal ingredients to introduce fresh, cutting-edge menus that delight diverse audiences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and university policies.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control while maintaining a focus on sustainability and local sourcing.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive pastry experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or executive role.
- Formal training from an accredited culinary or pastry arts program preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic flair, technical mastery, and innovative design.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience in university or institutional foodservice operations a plus.
