Location: Florida State Hospital | Chattahoochee, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (EST) + Rotational On-Call

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring an Electrician to support operations at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, FL.

This role is responsible for the repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems across a large, complex facility. On a daily basis, you will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure electrical systems are operating safely and reliably in an institutional and clinical environment.

This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems, and maintaining critical systems in a structured, safety-focused setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and components
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Repair and replace wiring, fixtures, panels, and related equipment
• Inspect systems to identify risks or potential failures
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Respond to on-call electrical emergencies as part of a rotating schedule

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a process driven electrical maintenance position required.
• Must have the ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Must have the ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs, and safety.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
   

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
