Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a General Manager II to oversee multi-site operations across a portfolio of senior living communities located primarily in the Asheville/Charlotte, North Carolina. This leadership role provides operational oversight for 10–12 communities supporting both culinary and environmental services (EVS) operations within Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) and senior living environments.

 

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for delivering strong operational performance while building trusted relationships with client partners and community leadership.This role works closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent service excellence while maintaining operational stability and accountability across the region.

 


This position reports directly to the Market Vice President of Operations and provides leadership toapproximately 20–25 managers and operational leaders across the district.

 


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, excellent relationship managementskills, and the ability to build confidence with client leadership. While operational and culinaryexperience are valuable,the most important qualities for success in this role are leadership presence and the ability to strengthen client relationships.

 


The role requires 60–70% travel to communities throughout the region.

Job Responsibilities

The successful General Manager:

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for 10–12 senior living communities across the MidAtlantic market.
• Lead and support a team of 20–25 managers and operational leaders.
• Coach and develop site leadership teams to drive service excellence.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure alignment with operational expectations.
• Oversee district financial performance including P&L; accountability.
• Drive productivity improvements and operational consistency across all sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

In order to be prepared for this leadership role, qualified candidates will possess:

    • 5–10+ years of leadership experience in multi-site operations, hospitality operations, food service operations, healthcare services, or senior living operations
    • Proven experience managing multi-property operations
    • Strong client relationship and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with client leadership
    • Strong team leadership and communication capabilities
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field preferred

    This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
