As a Student Nutrition intern you will work directly alongside of Registered dietician. 

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.  

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing recipes and find errors 
• Comparing Prima menu to online menu and noting any discrepancies
• Transcribe/edit recipes from Prima onto Galley (all recipes that interns assist with are reviewed by RD)
• Reviewing calories and allergens on daily menus 
•  Adjusting meal time hours for special events  
• Linking and unlinking stations 
• Reviewing recipes in New Media for contradicting information 
• Dining hall walkthrough to ensure menu items are prepared in accordance with the online menu

Qualifications

Must be a UNC student. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
