Job Description

Aramark is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to support daily retail operations, customer service, cashier transactions, stocking, inventory, and store cleanliness. This role is ideal for candidates with retail, cashier, cash handling, or customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities
•    Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with retail purchases
•    Operate a cash register and accurately process cash, credit card, and other sales transactions
•    Stock, replenish, organize, and merchandise products to maintain a clean and attractive retail sales floor
•    Monitor inventory levels and arrange items as needed to support product availability and store presentation
•    Follow cash handling procedures, complete safe verifications, and assist with preparing deposits
•    Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co-workers
•    Follow company policies, safety standards, and asset protection procedures to help maintain a secure retail environment

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.00. Compensation for driving personal vehicle is $0.60 per mile. 

Location: The area in need of service is Carmi, Sumner, and Vincennes. 

Job Responsibilities

•    Support customer service, sales transactions, stocking, inventory, and store cleanliness
•    Help create a positive guest experience in a retail setting
•    Contribute to a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail location

Qualifications

•    Previous retail, cashier, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred
•    Basic math and counting skills required
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
•    Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team
•    Ability to adapt to customer needs in a fast-paced retail environment
•    Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
 
Physical Requirements
This retail role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. The position may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
