Title:  Shipper/Receiver - KDP - Massachusetts

Job Description

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and shipment of goods. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently; inventory records are maintained properly, and all shipping and receiving activities comply with company procedures and safety standards. 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging materials
• Verify shipment contents against orders and shipping documents 
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries 
• Complete bills of lading, shipping manifests, and related documentation
• Ensure shipments meet customer and carrier requirements 
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor
• Accurately enter received items into inventory systems 
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) 
• Organize and maintain warehouse areas to ensure cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age  
• High school education or equivalent is preferred
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred 
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, email, data entry) 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing.  This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
