Job Description

The Director of Strategic Projects will serve as a senior leader across multiple workstreams, coordinating internal Aramark teams, Keurig Dr Pepper stakeholders, vendors, and operational partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and in accordance with quality and risk standards. This role requires strong executive presence, excellent stakeholder management skills, and deep expertise in structured project delivery within complex service environments.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct large-scale, complex strategic projects across IFM operations supporting Keurig Dr Pepper, including transformation initiatives, process improvements, mobilizations, transitions, system implementations, and client-driven initiatives.
  • Build and maintain project governance structures, including charters, schedules, RAID logs, stakeholder communication plans, status reporting, and executive steering updates.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing project scope, milestones, deliverables, resource plans, budgets, and success measures.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating as needed to maintain momentum and protect outcomes.
  • Ensure projects align with Keurig Dr Pepper client requirements, operational priorities, compliance expectations, and Aramark business objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal departments and external stakeholders, including Keurig Dr Pepper representatives, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Drive disciplined change management practices to support adoption, minimize disruption, and sustain project benefits in live operating environments.
  • Monitor project financials and business impacts, including budget performance, forecast accuracy, cost controls, and value realization.
  • Present project updates, recommendations, and decision points to senior leadership and Keurig Dr Pepper stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Promote project management best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement across the account or business unit.
  • Mentor project managers and other team members where applicable, strengthening project delivery capability across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, facilities management, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience leading large, complex projects or programs in facilities management, integrated facilities management, operations, corporate services, construction, real estate, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise or client-facing strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and significant organizational impact.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and executive reporting.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to operate effectively in high-visibility, service-oriented environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
