Job Description

Overseeing the operations of their location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations, the facility is clean, and the customers are satisfied with their service.  They assist in managing the staff and play a large role in the ability to maintain positive employee relations.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $23.00 to $23.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees setting up of prep workstations 
  • Oversee the sanitation of prep workstations including floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, equipment, and utensils
  • Oversees the prep workers on duty and ensure that they are properly trained and adhere to the Aramark food handling policy.
  • Oversees the cooking and preparation of food items for the day according to recipes and brand requirements 
  • Ensure staff completes daily temperature logs 
  • Oversee the product merchandising, line displays, and distribution of marketing materials for promotions.
  • Provide on-going coaching and performance feedback to staff members
  • Responsible for making sure the staff properly disposes of waste

  • Responsible for making sure each station has taken samples of all food items on the line prior to serving the customers
  • Oversee staffing during peak times of operation and deal with labor shortages as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing all safety standards and assisting with safety observations
  • Ensure production sheets are filled out correctly and done in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for counting registers and safe at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

•    Two to three years’ experience in a related culinary position
•    Candidate will possess two to three years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree
•    Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
•    Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems
•    Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills
•    Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
