Job Description

Finance Coordinators are responsible for managing all finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparing cash bags, counting deposits, and payroll. Finance Coordinators must act with integrity and strictly adhere to all accounting policies and procedures for auditing purposes, as well as to ensure the financial success of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Count incoming deposit bags received from units
  • Maintain Daily, weekly, and monthly sales records
  • Reporting Credit sales from units into weekly sales report
  • Reporting weekly sales from the franchise brands
  • Post incoming checks to the accounts receivable spreadsheet and maintain copies of the invoices with the checks once payment is received
  • Submit Accounts Payable invoices to Client on weekly basis
  • Assist in making calls to departments on campus concerning past-due accounts receivables
  • Key in invoices using the Manager’s Toolkit/Accounts Payable System
  • Ensure all invoices are paid on time
  • Makes calls to the unit managers to make sure all invoices for the week have been turned in
  • Complete wage verification forms
  • Create AP Invoices to University
  • Must be able to produce spreadsheets reflecting sales monthly
  • Set up new vendors as needed
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Involves repetitive motion
  • Ability to be sedentary for long periods of time
  • Ability to type proficiently

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in accounting
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong math skills, counting and cash handling skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business or accounting
  • 3 or more years work experience in accounting
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time


This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
