Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $17.65 to $18.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and package all cafeteria food.
• Stock and maintain cafeteria food and salad bar.
• Restock cafeteria, utensils, and supplies as needed
• Prepare and cook variety of menu items following standardized recipes and production guidelines.
• Sets up and maintain a clean, organized workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Safely measure, chop, mix, and prepare ingredients.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and steamers.
• Assist with daily prep for breakfast, lunch and grab and go offerings.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining cafeteria, sweeping, mopping removing trash and sanitizing all surfaces
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation

Qualifications
• Experience as a cook or in a related role required
• Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks quickly
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Requires constant standing and walking
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
