Job Description

Monitor employee and visitor access. Directing individuals to the appropriate person and/or department and securing an escort as required by client’s security protocol.  Answer incoming calls.  Receive some limited types of deliveries.  Complete light data entry and/or administrative tasks

 

COMPENSATION: The hourly compensation range for this position is $20.00 to $21.00.  If both numbers in the range are the same, that is that rate that will be paid.  If there is a lower number and higher number, the pay will depend on factors such as an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet, provide badge and secure an escort for visitors.
  • Monitor identification and access privileges for client employees and contractors.  Supply temporary badges as needed
  • Responsible to open and close lobby doors at the scheduled times.
  • Provide telephone coverage by answering incoming calls.  Direct calls to appropriate person and/or department, as required.
  • Sign for deliveries and administer facility keys as required.
  • Provide “point of contact” per guest question & comment.
  • Perform “other” job-related duties as assigned by management, which achieve the established goals of Aramark and the client.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong communication skills to greet and direct client employees, contractors, visitors and telephone calls.  To meet requirements the receptionist must be articulate in English.
  • Demonstrate basic problem solving skills.                                
  • Exhibit Coordinating and manual skills for the appropriate client IT, access control and visitor management systems and databases                                                                                
  • Have basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs and IBM Lotus Notes databases and applications.
  • Maintain visual as well as mental concentration when applied to high volumes of activity.
  • Accept responsibility for actions taken.
