The Dual Service Manager will supervise entry-level employees within the Culinary and Environmental Services departments. They will be responsible for leveraging processes and procedures to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality deliverables. They also handle the allocation of budget, administering adequacy of resources to support business operations for clients' satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership

• Use Aramark’s coaching model to engage, mentor, and develop team members to their fullest potential.
• Create a shared understanding of performance expectations, objectives, and how results are achieved.

• Ensure individual and team performance meets operational objectives and client expectations.
• Plan and lead daily team briefings.
• Ensure teams are fully trained and capable of implementing Aramark processes and Operational Excellence fundamentals.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with client stakeholders.
• Identify client needs and proactively communicate operational progress and opportunities.
• Partner with client leadership and employees to support EVS and Culinary programs.
• Determine operational needs and ensure appropriate Aramark resources are engaged to support the client.

Operational Oversight

• Supervise teams regarding productivity, quality, and operational controls.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate food service and EVS activities to deliver a high-quality finished product to the customer.
• Utilize Aramark systems for ordering, scheduling, meal planning, inventory, and other operational needs.

Financial Performance & Productivity

• Manage all aspects of the fee account and ensure completion and maintenance of P&L statements.
• Deliver client and company financial targets.
• Adopt and enforce all Aramark processes and systems.
• Understand performance metrics, data, ordering, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
• Drive value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
• Meet and maintain budget and labor initiatives in alignment with Operational Excellence fundamentals.

Safety, Sanitation & Compliance

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met across all operations in compliance with Aramark and client regulations.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission, wage and hour, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Follow all Aramark and client policies, rules, and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across EVS and Culinary operations.
• Adapt to changing operational needs to meet client and company commitments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in a healthcare or large volume culinary environment, EVS and culinary experience highly preferred

• At least 2 years experience managing people  

• Must be able to work efficiently and independently 

• Requires ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business in both the short and long term.   

• Must have the ability to multi-task, as success in this role will be defined as being able to think quickly and adjust/adapt as necessary to accomplish goals.   

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, assisting the team on inquiries and concerns, as well as resolving production complaints. 

• Ability to respond quickly to changing demands.  

• Strong customer service principles and practices are required. 

• Must have the ability to influence without having direct authority.   

• The ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders, to include various levels.
