The Back Shop Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services. The Back Shop Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all unit activities related to facility and recreational equipment maintenance. Employee is flexible, has excellent trade skills, is willing to help our wherever needed, comfortable working outside and committed to delivering the highest quality of work possible. 

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $38. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and training to Back Shop Team
  • Greet guests and provide an orientation of all safety and necessary equipment concerns, basic etiquette, area regulations, safety procedures, resource protection
  • Adheres to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety of guests
  • Be aware of MSDS sheets and be able to use this information when necessary
  • Perform maintenance on ATVs, RZRs, boats, vehicles, engines, electrical, etc.
  • Inspect and repair any major repairs needed.
  • Assist with maintenance projects when needed.
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools. 
  • Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision.
  • Ensures security of company assets and a safe work environment through daily maintenance and housekeeping
  • Works in conditions that involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures
  • Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

Qualifications

•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
•    Working knowledge of production and facility equipment and devices.
•    Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.
•    Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
•    Ability to negotiate machine custody and service schedules.
•    Skills in using predictive maintenance techniques and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
•    Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
•    Ability to provide technical guidance to non-technical or production operators.
•    Mechanical and electrical aptitude
•    Knowledge of the operating practices of preventive maintenance.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
